Reckon he is a bloke who deserves a second shot at the AFL. He is a classic example of young talented players being drafted too early. He now looks to have a more mature attitude which is massive when trying to become an elite athlete in any sport. His natural talent and skills were never in doubt, but his behaviour is probably what you would have expected from a kid his age (anyone who has teenage children will know exactly what I am talking about). We all mature at different rates and I am sure every one knows someone in their forties, who has not really progressed past their late teens attitude and behaviour wise.
Freo has given many players a second chance who could not cut it with big league teams the first time around (Barlow springs to mind). Take him on as a mature age rookie and lets see where it goes, more to gain than lose IMO.
