First time poster but long-time reader in need of some advice. Together with a mate, Sean Gorman, who wrote the Brotherboys bio of the Krakouer bros, and the Indigenous Team of the Century book for the AFL, we've just been commissioned by Fremantle Press to write a book on the Eagles/Dockers Derby rivalry and the passions the derby invokes as a broader celebration of WA footy current and historical. We're structuring the book to involve eighteen interviews for both teams, across a broad cross-section of footy fandom - No 1 ticket-holders, characters and mug-punters such as ourselves.
