Just watched the last quarter of the GWS v Richmond game. I'm disheartened by the lack of courage shown to take the game on when drawing a cheap free kick is the tactic to use to get a kick on goal or relieve defensive pressure.
GWS on the other hand took the game on but we're not rewarded for their efforts, they appears to embody more "spirit of the game" and no claiming to have touched the ball in an effort to influence officialdom. Good on their coach on a very emotional weekend to see that he appears to have instilled an ethos into which parents of players under his tutelage would be proud.
