I'm concerned about this week's game against Melbourne, from a WA football point of view. The other WA team don't travel well and they often struggle to win games against top 15 sides. With Sydney winning, Collingwood playing Hawthorn and a tough draw ahead, it looks like this game is the pivotal moment in the season.
Lose this and WA football will struggle to have two teams in the finals.
Yes, its a deceptively crucial game - if Hoges doesn't adjust to the humidity, Jeff Garlett doesn't keep his feet and Neville the Jett can't find the corridor to come out of the back, it could be a very embarrassing day for WA footballers. I feel for them - like Zorro, I will pray that the knobbers they play against don't flummox their way through for another 4pt gift.
I like the chances here for the blue and yellow team to get ambushed. They really are quite full of themselves aren't they. Jesse Hogan will be doing his best to impress Ross Lyon to eventually cement a spot in Freo's forward line. You must remember the budgies are only two games from 9th spot though!?!!?? I guess that means we also are not far from ninth being first and all.............?
