There was a moment last night, a few beers in, where I had to remind myself it wasn’t Friday night. Sure, today is a bit of a struggle, but once we get through that, we basically get a ‘second’ Friday night. How cool is that?
As for the weekend, it shapes to be a sunny weekend, and some perfect weather to head down to a nice WAFL ground, watch a game and kick a footy around.
Sadly, my team isn’t playing at a nice WAFL ground this weekend, it is playing at East Freo Oval (or the Up-and-at-THEM! Shed, or whatever it is called). If I’m going to spend my time around some patchy grass and a sand pile, I’d probably be better served doing some gardening.
