I thought being constantly smashed by injuries in the first half of the season would result in a relatively injury free run home, but unfortunately the hits just keep on coming.

Some risks need to be taken. I am going to have to say goodbye to the classy Dion Prestia after his season ending surgery under the LTI rule and also more regrettably, part ways with our spiritual leader and social function organiser, Harley Bennell, also under LTI rule.

Replacing them is difficult, but creates opportunity. So lets try Aaron Francis (bombers) and Nick Graham (carlton).

It's hard to take players I want to draft into my own side and trade them into someone elses.

I'd like to trade out Mickey Barlow (freo) from FD's squad and bring in former STC Superstar Sam Lloyd (tiger) please Merc.

I have lost patience with Jaeger O'Meara, has been out injured all season and at best is now at least two weeks away but the remainder of the season is the most likely.

We will LTI him for Peter Wright.

It would have to be a long-term injury to Kersten to dump him from the list.

Ah righto so a LTI substitution can't be reversed even when your player is available again?
Devon Smith was in my original squad and he was out for 12 weeks so I subbed in Kersten but I can't get Smith back unless I have another LTI is that right?

....just need clarification, sorry Merc....

Effectively your substitution becomes a "normal" Rasher. He can only be removed from the squad via a pre-July Trade of a long-term injury.

The 3/4 weeks is your achilles here. If another week had gone by or it said 4/5 weeks then it would have passed the six-week minimum. At this stage it is a doubt as to whether he is out for six weeks or not.
