I have done no research, so have no idea, but people here keep saying that Voss is in hot form.

Keeping Fyfe able to play in any kind of form through to September is pretty important and will involve management, not messing.

Reidy is not up to leading the ruck at AFL level. You can watch him at Peel and see how little influence he has around the ground or in the air. He gets first hands to a lot of ball ups in the WAFL against blokes much smaller than him but doesn't do much with it.

The move is Jackson to the ruck and Voss to ruck/forward. Voss is a great back up tall forward who will spend 60-70% of his time there and is big enough to contest a hit out that doesn't allow the opposition an easy tap to advantage. That's what we need and Voss has earned another crack in the AFL.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

Yep, i really like the idea of Voss in attack and especially like his defensive work.
Treacy & Voss in the fwd line, plus Amiss. Jackson as ruck/rover with Son Son as sub, is my best bet.

Use Fyfe as ruck.

Lloyd Meek is not going to win Hawthorn the game. At best as a ruckman he’s a neutraliser, and the Hawks don’t have a backup themselves, so you don’t really need to worry about picking a second ruckman. It’s just a question of who takes the 25% of taps when Jackson is resting. I don’t mind the idea of Fyfe taking a few taps.

This is exactly the game for Voss to come in and play a role.

Not too sure how good Meek is, Morgan. But am very sure he's better than you think of him.

Meek's a different proposition this year. Against the Tiges we were lucky in asense that we had Darcy for a half to wear Nankervis down at least a bit. Nank was enormous by the way, clearly the dominant figure on the ground. Whichever coach gave Brayshaw the 5 over him had rocks in their head. But Jackson could impact enough contests and jump over him in the second half. Jackson is a pretty good matchup for Meek with the absence of Darcy, but we do want to deny that Hawks midfield usage. I'd toy with playing Reidy for half a minute and then roll with Voss forward, and JT rucking when Meek is off.

BH, Nankervis was that good his side got flogged by 8+ goals, the question is, Why did Treacy not get the 10 votes?

He'd want to be Hypen.

Meek is the ruckman you play if you don't have a good ruckman. He's had 3 coaches votes this year, which he got playing against Bailey Williams from West Coast who is an absolute jobber.

I'm not trying to run Meek down, I'm just saying I wouldn't be making team selections based on how to slow down Lloyd Meek.

I only you beauted because you used the word jobber.

Luke “the unicorn” Jackson is gonna wipe the floor with that jabroni Meek.

What he gonna do when Diockermania runs wild over Launceston when the kids of northern Tasmania walk into that oval look at their siblings and say “Can you smell what the Unicorn is cooking”

A nice hawk pie full of Meek is what he’s cooking!!!!

I assume you're just being flippant Raggy.

Nankervis was enormous on Saturday and is definitely one of the best rucks in the comp at the moment.

Meek might have improved a bit with regular games under his belt, but he's light years away from having the impact Nankervis can have.
