I had a very brief encounter with Cam,i was at Freo oval renewing my membership,and after doing that i walked outside ,Cam was barefoot walking and bouncing the ball on the boundary he was with a couple of other players, rookies i think.
Anyway he stopped on the 50 mtr arc and went bang with both feet to kick it through the middle of the goals,the players ribbed him so guess what he did it again this time bananas,a huge smile across his face ,never will forget it.
I thought well you are very special,from then on i always hoped he would show his great potential,but unfortunately we never saw it realise ,though there were many glimpses.
