Well WTB, if the Saints traded to get pick 6, it would become pick 14ish, so doesn't matter what pick we get from whatever club, it is compromised by F/S Academy and Priority picks. Pick 1 will be at best, pick 8.

Going to be harder now with Champion Data getting involved, reckon Henry is worth probably Pick 30 at best and St Kilda would be mad to give a First rounder. Since when do these idiots get involved in trade deals between clubs, According to them the only guy on our list worth a first round pick would be Swiita, only Elite player we've got

Fremantle Dockers - where your trade value skyrockets the minute you ask for a trade

For a future second rounder. We've been shafted here.

Royally Shafted, I would have let him slide to the draft.

Actually a terrible trade. No where near his worth regardless of his contract situation. I'd have much rather we let him walk to the pre-season draft and tried to grab him ahead of the Saints if no one else bit first.

Giving away our former pick 9 who we put almost 10 years of development into and had come good this season to establish himself as a genuine winger for a future 2nd rounder is rubbish. Actually a putrid trade let alone whatever they did swapping future 4th round picks that mean nothing and end up in the 60's.

Also, get Colin Young away from our players.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

What a terrible result! Gave him away.
And I can’t help but notice that we’ve lost two players from our starting 22 for nothing but picks. I hope we go alright with injuries next season because once we’ve moved the magnets around to cover those two holes our depth will be as shallow as an Eagles fan’s personality.

Ditto to an earlier comment. Saints second round pick in 2024 will be somewhere around 30-35. It’s lucky dip territory. They should have made a statement and let him walk into the draft and let North or Hawthorn or WC(!!!) pick him up.

Good result given the circumstances and people involved.

So when Freo finish below St Kilda next year we will be improving their 4th round pick by swapping out their worse one for ours?

In what universe does this make sense iattached to a top 10 drafted player who you swapped for a blown out second round draft chance?

In the Colin Youngiverse, that's where. He's a black hole.

"I loved my time at the dockers, they made my childhood dreams come true". So I spat in their eye by requesting a trade and let my manager kick sand in their face on the trade.

Hope he does knee and something worse befalls his manager.

Silvagni’s assessment is interesting. "His ability to find space is complemented by his elite skills and composure with ball in hand.”

Is that true? Henry certainly found space this year, but I suspect that was in part because other teams didn’t necessarily rate his skills or composure with ball in hand. When I think of players with elite skills and composure I think of Mundy or Walters who can assess a situation and then execute a beautiful kick. I always thought Colyer was the same, but less good at finding space. Good things happen when those players have the ball.

When I think of Henry, I imagine him seeming to take a while to pick an option and then dinking the kick generally in the direction of his teammates or the opposition.

I always though Henry looked better than he was, with the hope being that he would develop into the player he looked like. It sucks to be rooting against that now.
