GWS allowing Sam Taylor to be traded out is as silly as the argument to trade Darcy from Freo. There has been way too much of this discussion and too many who are off their meds posting on this topic. Total madness to think that teams are going to off load their All Australian players on a mere whim to gain a draft pick to get some kid who there is no gurarntee to give us what we want. We have a topline young ruckman who is totally committed to the club and our quest for a flag and a unicorn who can get up and take ruck hitouts, play as a big mid a la Blicavs, and play forward in a support role to Amiss and Treacy. It's not a secret that Geelong want a frontline ruck like Darcy to play alongside Blicavs to give a versatile combination to drive their premiership quests yet we already have one. Why would we ruin our our good fortune to have these guys playing for us.
As for Henry, we should give him and a sweetener, maybe a later pick to Hawthorn in exchange for their Pick 3 which could get us into the lottery for Dan Curtin. I don't like seeing him go but if he's made up his mind we need to maximise our return
