That's a really strong Freo side. Always tough to win in Melbourne, but it should be a really good game.
We have the bye the following week, and Melbourne has Carlton on a 6 day break. I'm not sure how much effect that has on the players, but I wonder if the players will be thinking about going just a bit harder on the basis they have two weeks to recover, and it would be nice to hit the bye (and a Saturday night on the town in Melbourne) with a strong win.
It's hard to fathom that a team that had 80% of this line-up in round 2 lost to North Melbourne at home. One more goal in that game and we'd be sitting in 7th with all the signs of coming home with a wet sail.
