I will be heading to Melbourne for the July game against Collingwood. Wife had bad experience at Adelaide Oval sitting amongst the Port Adelaide crowd a few years back. (a Port supporter sprayed abuse on her when Jonas knocked out Gaff - confession, it was an Eagles game and we sat there quietly trying not to draw attention to ourselves; confession 2 - I was made to wear an Eagles scarf). I read the post on previous Collinwood game with glee, but that did not help in convincing her about the upcoming game against the Pies. So is there an area where like -minded Dockers can sit at the MCG (for spouse protection)? And is there a Dockerland pub to meet up before the game?
