If you watch Lyon as he is linked to jobs, it’s plain to see he wants to be handed a job, rather than going through a recruiting process. He wants to be wooed like Clarkson. It’s an ego stroke. He will stay linked to the StK job until they announce the recruiting process. Then if it’s not “just hire Lyon” he will drop out.
