I don’t disagree with you Bizkit, but every one has to push past someone to earn games, Noddy went past Colyer, Chapman went past Logue, Young went past Hughes, Walker went past Wilson (although many dispute that after the semifinal) Serong and Brayshaw both overtook Tucker and Crowden.
Most of that growth and assessment came during preseason and coaches saw enough to grant them games.
We have a few positions up for grabs and if Erasmus or Johnson train the house down or burn up the track they’ll play plenty of games next year. Having JOM, Aish and Fyfe gives them something to build towards and a target to be better than.
