I hope as stated in Leviticus he doesn’t wear two different fabrics as the punishment is death by stoning. Also his wife must leave the house whilst menstruating otherwise the same punishment is applied.
It’s not some in some out but needs to be all in or all out. This is why more progressive churches have moved away from this nonsense

If these people truly believe Jesus is their saviour then they need to live his teachings. He was the one who told the Pharisees the old laws no longer apply. Tho Old Testament law was rejected by him. His law is Love each other unconditionally and do unto others as you would have done unto you.

In other words respect each other and live and let live.

As disclosure I do not belong to any church or attend any church I was baptised catholic as a child but renounced my faith some years back due to the findings of a Royal Commission.

However I remember my scriptures well. And love calling out hypocrites like this clown and scomo and his crew.

I've seen first hand the destruction the church's intolerance of gay people can wreak. And we mustn't accept it.

But a couple of points, the Catholic Church isn't exactly a beacon for progressivism either. Would it be the same if dude was on a Catholic board?

Secondly, and this part I'm uncomfortable with how many church goers are not entirely accepting of what their Pastor or church stands for?
