While none of the players listed in
Twomey's top 30 draft prospects are likely to end up at Freo given our lack of draft picks this year, it's very interesting to see him rate Ed Allen in there off the back of half a dozen late season games.
I certainly don't see him at that level but it's probably based a bit on the evenness of the draft this year and the lack of outstanding players and qualities that Ed's pushed so high in his eyes. As a 194cm midfielder, he certainly stands out but I didn't think the rest of his game was that outstanding just yet. I'll go back and watch his games again but it would be nice if he slides later in the draft if we want a shot at picking up the son of our inaugural captain and former coach.
