While none of the players listed in Twomey's top 30 draft prospects are likely to end up at Freo given our lack of draft picks this year, it's very interesting to see him rate Ed Allen in there off the back of half a dozen late season games.

I certainly don't see him at that level but it's probably based a bit on the evenness of the draft this year and the lack of outstanding players and qualities that Ed's pushed so high in his eyes. As a 194cm midfielder, he certainly stands out but I didn't think the rest of his game was that outstanding just yet. I'll go back and watch his games again but it would be nice if he slides later in the draft if we want a shot at picking up the son of our inaugural captain and former coach.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

If we wanted him I think we could get him, even at 28, suns have 3x 2nd round picks this year plus whatever they get from the crows for Rankine. They also need future picks to match bids for their two academy players next year, so if we do end up with a bevy of Future picks for Logue, Tucker, Acres and Meek, we could trade back into this years draft for one of theirs.

I am hearing great things about Max Machalanney.

Whoa Max Macalanney bamba lam,

Bamba laaaaaaammm.

Henry Huswaite could be another to look at. That name sounds more like a directive though.

Elijah Tsatas impressed, moves a bit slow and hes ungainly but hes growing on me. He's from Vic Metro. So he may "Phone Home."

ET phone.....

Let the "you beauts" begin. Get in early. Not all get shown after the first ten or so.

Is Mitch Edwards another son of ex docker Scott? Ben Edwards has been putting in some good performances at Claremont and is really hard and physical in his approach and if there's a family connection Mitch may be worth a shot as a late pick.
I'd really like to see us pick up Ed Allan though

Did some good things in the GF for Claremont yesterday. He's definitely got ability and could work as a lock down or rebounding defender. I'd give him a go but we already have Chapman, Walker, Young, Wilson and Clark who play similar roles. I like where your coming from though Polly. It's a shame so many promising players in the WAFL who are overlooked once they hit 21 or 22. There's a big kid Jack Buller for Claremont who was playing Full forward/ruck who looked a likely AFL type but not sure if he's gone past the use by age. He's 21yo, 198cm, 97 kg

I was thinking Carter would be on the wing. Smart player with a long laser boot. We played him on the wing when he was with us.
