The AFL has to move quickly as so much rides on whether Clarkson & Fagan are punished or not - not just their own coaching jobs and those clubs but also the trades that now have to be put on hold (surely Logue will reconsider his choice of NM if Clarkson is no longer the messiah coach).
I cannot see how they can’t be sacked, because the scenario that explains away how three separate players and their family members could all be lying is not rooted in any form of reality. It would mean that they all got together at some point in the past to work up false allegations that they’d only get to use if by chance the club commissioned a review and approached them.
If the AFL concludes that there’s not enough to go on, and let C & F continue working, I will be stunned.
