Gil just came out and said the problem with the tribunal appeal process was that it looks bad.

His priority will be the appearance of it. History would suggest it will take him a few phone calls to Kerry Stokes to work out how it looks.

What does “consulted” mean? Are they using weasel words?
Were Fagan and Clarkson ask to respond?
While not diminishing from the seriousness of the allegations, if they did not seek a response from the accused prior to the report being finalised it would be a significant error of process.

Instead of tackling the issue head on (and this is a mighty good opportunity to be transparent and honest), its entirely possible that clubs head even further down the educated, private school, no risk route.
I think a full blown review of every club is a non negotiable regardless of the consequences. We owe past and future players and their families at least that.

I sincerely hope the Federal govt launch a Royal Commission into the treatment of First Nations players in the AFL system.

This review like all others will just be window dressed and no lasting change or consequences will occur.

This behaviour is endemic in the system and needs to be rooted out.

Boy oh boy, that was difficult reading. While there's always context and nuance, I am putting it out there that if it ever comes to light that representatives of Fremantle, my Club, act in such a manner to young players and their loved ones, I am out!

This is not a threat to trigger action. I am a super unimportant and insignificant being. I'm just saying I couldn't bear to be part of it any more.

Oh goody AFL is having an independent panel review this. Let’s see how many panel members are First Nations people. The whitewash and I use the pun deliberately of this report has begun. This is disgusting.

A body not connected to or appointed by the AFL needs to investigate this. TheAFL should have no connection or influence in this body.

All have afl experience, knowledge and have been racially abused within the system.
