My fingers have finally warmed up enough to use my phone!
-I thought Aish and Clark were outstanding today. Serong got a lot of the ball and cleverly used Aish and Clark to move it forward.
- While it was a good win, if we play like that against Geelong or Melbourne we will have a short run in the finals.
- We need some presence in the forward line. Barass last week and Taylor this week kept ordinary teams in the game.
- one trip to Manuka in a life time is enough.

Slow starts are a big problem. You can reel back crap teams like GWS and WCE, but teams like Melbourne make you pay.

Whoever they play next, they need to apply more pressure earlier in the game.

Oh, and play Logue on whoever is playing full back for the opposition.

These Saturday morning games are a drag, having to go into social media and radio blackout while the kids finish sport.

The good - Great response from the players when being soundly beaten at the start of the game. 2 Ton Son Son showed he still has it.

The bad - going missing for a third of the game won't cut it in September. A real risk of going out in straight sets (or week one) if we bring that effort. Serong was singlehandedly keeping us in it for a while there.

The ugly - Fyfe isn't match fit, I reckon there's some big calls to make at Freo HQ in the next two weeks.

Brayshaw was ok but probably didn’t catch the umpires eyes. He does a power of work (the old one percenters). If the Brownlow rewarded tackles and pressure acts he would win by a country mile.

Brayshaw has been getting a very heavy tag.

Fyfe showed signs of Fyfe. Hasn't got his strength back yet but it's coming.

His hand eye coordination and reflexes are phenomenonal. It's like me at shortleg.
