It was obvious when Schultz was thrown to the ground without the footy early in the 1st quarter that Freo would find it hard to win. So it proved. Disgraceful different interpretations of the ducking, the holding the man, and the illegal disposal/throw interpretations all game.

We've run out of steam late in the season........our younger players haven't built the motor yet to sustain the level they were at earlier this year.

We might make the finals and play a game or two which will be good experience. But need another couple of good preseasons before we can become a team capable of going deep at the business end of the year

Shultz has been mediocre for a few weeks now.
Colyer was hardly sighted
Tabs had a shocker.

Its time Longmuir stopped playing favourites and provides an opportunity to Crowden, Wilson & Erasmus who are playing well at Peel and are not being rewarded. We look like we need an injection of fresh blood because many of the guys out there look absolutely cooked. If we manage to stay inside the top 8 the way we are playing, and that's a big if, we will be straight out come finals time.

Chapman, Cox, Shultz, Tabs, Colyer, Acres all garbage tonight.
Harsh on Henry, applied real pressure has been much improved on previous time in the team. Hard at that contest in back half. He won’t learn the pace of the game in the WAFL. 17 touches and 3 tackles far from our worst.
Banfield, Wilson, Tucker, Meek, Crowden all players that will bring effort and physical presence. 3 weeks of poor performance shows you need to swing the changes not just for injury.
