It’s funny, isn’t it, the Freo is one of few clubs that see a gate early on in games with a sign on it that says “No Score Zone” and they go through it. Consciously, or out of curiosity, I don’t know. But when they do it in a different state to WA they really don’t come back out. Never even come back close to the gate again and look the least bit like scoring.
Makes you think that the days when your Banfields, your Schultzs, your Fredericks kick multiple goals and your Aishs, your Colyers, your Brayshaws chip in for one as well are relative flukes.
Oh yeah, and when Fyfe leads your tackle count (along with Brodie) you know something was unright with the team preparedness for the contest.
