Yep, looked like he started to try to play like a forward and Sicily took advantage, nudging him under ball for an easy intercept. Is better when his focus is on stopping the opposition marking the ball, rather than going for the mark himself.

While he didn’t kick a goal yesterday, he handed off or set up a few and he is a target in the forward line and makes a contest.
It will be interesting to see what JL does when Tabs comes back in and Fyfe is there playing forward also.

I like Logue and I think he’s playing a useful role, but is there a player of his size in the league who so regularly runs or is pushed under the ball? Is that a judgment thing or a technique thing?

It’s a good reminder of just how special guys like Cox, Ryan and Young are at reading the ball in flight.

Our fringe players should attract attention and you can hardly blame them for considering bigger contracts and regular games. Meek, Logue (who I see as better than fringe), Crowden, Tucker, Banfield, Hughes etc etc ... expect some offers to come.

Partly Roger. I get frustrated by different standards applied to certain players. Logue was scratchy at times yesterday but ended with 2 shots on goals, 5 marks and 6 tackles. Not bad for a bloke playing his third game forward,against an intercepting back many have in their AA teams at the halfway mark of the season.
Some players get singled out every time they make a mistake, while others get a leave pass.
