Grab Kim Kantilla - give him a couple of weeks to acclimatise then sign him for 5 years to mark and kick oodles of goals.

If we rule Amiss out then we can have another selection. We'd need someone we're looking at as a first 22 challenger to rule Amiss out and pay someone to join the list for a few months.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

Should we have a crack at Casey Voss? Son of Carlton coach Michael Voss.
Otherwise I'd be ok with any of these;
Hugo Hall-Kahan
Jye Menzie
Ethan Grace
Mitch O'Neill
Fletcher Hart

Strom fits that bill, Biz.
I reckon The Derk will be gorn by the time we get our first pick but I wouldn't be opposed to us grabbing another player (in addition to Strom) if there's any other decent long-term options available.

Strom makes sense if your looking at auditioning him as a Lobb replacement stop gab until Treacy/Amiss develop enough to take over, having him train and potentially play a few games in the back half of the season gives a good indication if we need to go hard for a ready made replacement or just take whatever is on offer and use the cap space to lock in other required players.

Talking about the Lobb replacement Purple Kit. The latest I heard was that Lobbs partner has now relocated to Perth. She was a major factor in him wanting out of the West. There may be other factors but its now a real chance that the Lobster remains. Maybe not a coincidence he just played his best or just about his best game for the club on the weekend. I personally want the Lobb we saw on the weekend to stay. And Im not sure Jackson improved his stocks any on the weekend, they said on the couch tonight the Toast were talking to him as little as two days ago.

With Amiss hanging his boots up for the year, does that mean we'll get 2 picks at the MSD tomorrow? And if so, do you think we'll use both?

Back up tall forwards would be my request. If the good ones have gone by our pick then forwards who can kick goals in the wet. I hope we can use both picks.

Reading between the lines of JL's interview with Channel 7 it sounds like we're only considering taking one player - and one that isn't requesting a contract longer than the end of the year. I'm guessing the latter is to prevent issues with existing team members - like Shoota having to play off the rookie list.

In theWest today apparently Freo have been chatting with an East Perth bloke who can jump over parked cars from a standing start.

"High-flying East Perth Sudanese talent Sebit Kuek has also come into consideration after a breakout start to the season, kicking 16 goals in five games.
Kuek has natural athleticism for a 195cm key position player, with an incredible leap and strong set of hands.
The 21-year-old has kicked multiple goals in every game this season despite playing just 12 senior games."

Sounds like the go...
