Well Noddy is out as well for 6 weeks, maybe Erasmus can take his spot?

Erasmus or Fredricks if he's not in the starting 22 already.
So my ins would be (as above):
Lobb, Acres, Logue, Colyer and now either Erasmus or Fredricks.

Agree 100% - Raz doesnt belong in the WAFL...
Absolute Gun and we still have Johnson to come back too - These two will be a great combo for years to come.
Brayshaw, Serong, Erasmus & Johnson will be the equivalent of the Brissy Fab 4 for the next decade ably lead by Big Darce who is almost the best ruckman in the comp now.
What a time to be a Freo fan

Acres Colyer and Lobb are very solid ins. Freddie for Switta.
Freddie/Colyer before Eras at this stage, based on Ras' clanger %. May just be nerves but give him a couple more Peel games to practice his precision kicking. It's what Freo have built their game style on, that and pressure.

Wet conditions tailor made for Brodie and Brayshaw. Suns coming off some form but I think we will be very competitive.

Before people start running too far with the whole Raz is a bad kick thing, not only has he proven to be a fantastic kick at the lower levels but his AFL stats say he is no different to anyone else.

The caveat to these being the position on the ground and situation where these disposals are picked up, Raz (13.7) averages more touches per game than Colyer, Freddy, Schultz, Walters, Banfield (sub effected) and Tucker and does not have too different a disposal efficiency or average no of clangers despite spending more of his time in the midfield where there are more rushed kicks in a contest:
Player - Av Possessions - Av Clangers - Disposal Eff
Raz: 13.7 - 2 - 66%
Colyer: 11.7 - 1.3 - 75%
Freddy: 9.4 - 2.6 - 77%
Schultz: 13 - 2.9 - 71%
Walters: 13.3 - 3.6 - 63%
Banfield: 6.3 - 1.8 - 58%
Tucker: 12.4 - 1.7 - 75%

As can be seen, he's not committing any more clangers than others in the side and his disposal efficiency is on par with those who play forward/midfield. The difference being, he's played a few games (some as the sub) and needs to adjust to the increased pressure and speed of the game at AFL level. You can't do that in the WAFL and he's already dominated his two games there. The way he develops is with games in our first 22.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

Calling it early.

Raz's hand gesture for the team to wait / settle after he takes a mark and decides where to kick the ball will become as iconic as MJ's pointing.

I love your enthusiasm for the kids Biz, but that stat is his disposal efficiency, try looking at his kicking efficiently as last game he had 3 kicks for 2 direct turnovers, last time I checked that’s 33% hitting the target.

That's his disposal efficiency for the season and is far more relevant than taking a 5min period where he missed a couple of kicks and extrapolating it out to come up with the premise he's a poor kick of the footy and shouldn't be in the side till he fixes that. The point was everyone fluffs a couple kicks and overall he has actually been on par with everyone despite not having adjusted to the speed of AFL yet.

I'm using the data for the full season (albeit, 2 and a bit games considering his spot as the sub) and comparing it to others with a similar role and disposal output. If there were WAFL stats on kicking efficiency provided you'd see his kicking is quite good however those stats aren't taken.

Crucifying and dropping a kid because he missed a couple kicks when the rest of his work has been fantastic is misguided.

No one’s crucifying him. Some are just saying he’s got things to work on and it might be best to work on them at Peel.

I dunno, dropping him for missing a kick late in a game seems like a pretty big over reaction. Especially when you consider the comparisons earlier and that Raz disposals are no different from anyone else. The benefits to Raz getting senior games are pretty well illustrated and the other aspects he brings to the table that are elite should not be left in the WAFL because he fluffed a kick. Even more so when there is no WAFL game this weekend, he'll learn nothing.
