Anyone else getting a message that their barcode will be available 72 hours before the game (yesterday)?
Yeah I know the 72-hour banner s a permanent feature and I can tap on the ticket in my app anyway and see the barcode, but the person our daughter forwarded her ticket to is not a member and can't.
Third home game, third time hundreds, possibly thousands of us are sitting listening to the club's holding message, with some new intractable technical issue.
Tell me again why members can't be provided with a single card that has a barcode on it?
Any putative cost of manufacturing and distributing cards is dwarfed by the amount of time, energy and data (ie searching for self-help solutions, emailing, texting, DM-tweeting the club) this is taking, round after round

I usually do a screen shot of my ticket and send the photo to whoever.
This forwarding malarkey has always been dodgy… they have to be a member of Ticketmaster not FFC, to download.

pollyanna's right. the QR code is the same each time. Screenshot it once and do whatever you like from then on.

It does, however, seem to be a supremely overcomplicated procedure for what it actually is. It could have been sent on a piece of paper or the back of your shop voucher - which, apparently, you don't need anyway if you have the code from it.

I did wait 59 minutes and 40 secs to get through to membership this morning. They were great and sorted out my (self inflicted - purchased the wrong membership type) problem very quickly. She said its bonkers in there since Freo started winning and they are currently interviewing more people to help out on the phones and with the up keep of the bandwagon.

No reason why Fyfe shouldn't be on the phones and Young and Chapman can answer the phones whilst working from home.

Screenshot it and text it every time as the "show barcode" option also has the round number and opposition team on the top. An over officious ticket person may deny entry with the wrong info on the ticket. Also, if seating is in restricted areas (eg Platinum Terrace, Premiership Terrace, etc) you will also have to show your ticket.

I blame COVID...
Never mattered if you dropped your ticket on the ground and someone else took it.
Now they need to track our movements just in case. That's the reason we need a digital certificate to map our movements.
I preferred the lanyard, could of had Darcy on mine this year.

I tried the screenshot approach vs the deaf cheats, but the turnstile gizmo and gate staff became blind cheats instead. Print out on paper when you can.
