The most prolific key forward in the crop this year, Amiss booted 53 goals at colts level for East Perth, having only started playing as a forward at the start of last season. The left-footer is an accurate set-shot kick and converts the large majority of his chances, with his goal nous at a high level. His year ended with a PCL strain to his knee which saw him ruled out of testing at the West Australian Draft Combine.

Apparently they're both Weagles supporters but the rest of the boys already at the club should be able to knock the slime out of them. Probably Josh Carr's job.
Erasmus looked really wrapped with his selection though and said all the right things when interviewed after his selection.

Jye Amiss's speed on the lead and agility sets him apart from others.. He kicks goals in a number of different ways.. In an elite environment he might just explode.. The upside is greater for him than others that have been in the development programs for longer.. It would be nice if he is still growing.. A couple more cm's would be good.. Also liked to see a few tackles in the highlight tape.. Hopefully him and cyclone can put on pressure that Tabs and Lobb have not been able too

I'd be surprised if any youngster from WA would be a Dockers supporter. These boys would have been 10 when we played our only GF (and lost) and then their entire teennage life we played dour, unnatractive Rollyball with little success. As much as I hate the OOFTITs, can't blame a kid for following the OOFTITs when they have been contending and winning premierships and, I will take a shower after I say this, doing so in an exciting and relatively high scoring fashion. I'm sure they'll do what practically every draftee does and be professional players with little regard to their past allegiances but 9/10 Perth kids would be onn the OOFTIT train I reckon.

Simon Garlick's clever plan to increase the supporter base is to recruit Eagles supporters. A whispering campaign involving the Amiss and Erasmus families should mean a huge switch of support from Eagle to Docker with Garlick meeting his target by 2025.
Obviously we want quality families like Erasmus and Amiss. There are some families you just don't want. (insert hated Eagle name here)
