I’m confused (not for the first time)
Has anyone from the club or Lobb’s team actually said that he is or is not on the table?
If he isn’t on the table, wouldn’t Lobb’s team want the club to confirm they aren’t shopping him around?
Why would the club be trying to trade him unless it was at his request (there doesn’t seem to be salary cap pressure and he always selected in the club’s 22 when not injured)?

So many questions, so few answers. Trade period really needs to be shortened to two days.

Nah sorry, I'm more of a believer of where there's smoke there's fire. Can you name any other player that has had this much speculation at all without him or the club actually dismissing it? It's already been discussed that his girlfriend has a job in Victoria.
I mean, it's not that hard to release a statement or organise an interview denying something that's been continuing for so long.

Freo have already stated he’s a required player and contracted and expect him to play with us next year, the rumours are all coming from the Lobb camp trying to get a club interested enough to present a decent offer to change Bell’s mind.

Edit: for what it’s worth, I can see why Richmond are interested as they are losing Chol and Colman-Jones so need a forward/ruck and are clearly chasing another cup before their stars all get too old. It would have to be a good offer involving at a minimum pick 15 for us to even consider it.

I think you're right Corp, Tucker has been named as a possible trade for Clark but the club came out yesterday and said he's not going anywhere. Lobbs been talked about for much longer and yet everyone involved has remained silent. hmmm

Players don't come out and dismiss rumours or they'd be holding individual press conferences every few days.

Lobb came back home to WA and loves it here. He's happy to stay here and loves playing for the club. The rumour is his missus old man (Steve Rosich) has offered her a very high paying job over East so Lobb's open to a move. He's more than happy to continue at the club however and the club should be doing everything possible to retain him as we have absolutely no one who could fill his role.

I've mentioned the importance of his role in the side and how few players in the AFL are capable of it let alone good at it. People sledging his efforts in the team are so far off the mark, it's not worth arguing again. They're just wrong.

The speculation battles are heating up - Sam McClure says Lachie Neale's move out of Brisbane "not done yet". So now it's McClure on Neale v Browne on Lobb. Good lord, who can you trust - they want the spotlight and are ramping it up to get you panicked into clicking your arse off.

Hopefully, someone trustworthy with the facts can provide a balanced analysis on this whole thing - someone like Tom Wildie at the ABC (as long as he doesn't confuse Lobb with Treacy, Neale with Joe Danniher or some other wild chaotic blunder).

I’m amazed by how much the so called professionals get wrong. Steven Silvagni is the worst. The other day suggesting Carlton talk Cerra into going to the national draft and naming his salary. As a player you can’t actually do that. You can only do that in the pre season draft. That wouldn’t work either as North would grab him. Muppets most of them. Cerra is a future All Australian with 200 games plus left in him. Pay up Carlton.
