Any thoughts on value of pick 19 ? we grab Richmond’s 26 & 28 and have 6,8,26,27,28 ... just for the fun value of having three picks in succession- 5 picks under 30 handy tho in an a supposedly very even Draft (assuming 22 used for Clarke)

Agreed, it was never going to happen. But it's a factor in the negotiations. Because Cerra was uncontracted, we were always in the weaker position in the negotiations. All things considered, I reckon we did ok, although the proof will be in the pudding which is whoever we take with pick 6/8.

I appreciate your glass half full approach RM but a pick in the draft is not certainly, whereas Cerra is a certainty. If we get another Serong we get lucky. We are just as likely not to get another Serong. Carlton know what they are getting with Cerra.
