I really don't understand how Freo have made this trade and think it's any good. Carlton's pick will slide back to 8 after Daicos/Darcy bids so we've effectively moved our successful pick 5 after 3 years of development who would be taken in the first couple of selections if available in the open draft this year, down a long way to the bottom of the top 10. The third round pick is effectively useless and could be terrible if Carlton have a good year next season.

It's a horrible trade.

Freo said they would deal honorably with Cerra, and they have. A top ten pick is worth the same as a top 2 pick in the draft lottery, so stop complaining about it. The Clark deal is the one that worries me.
