I think a few people here are missing the point.
Pick 19 isn't just a standard pick 19. We will have 24 hours to do deals with it before the second night of drafting. This means that teams who missed their original targets will do what they can to get first choice.
Hence pick 19 is actually worth more than pick 19 if we manage it properly. Why do you think Geebung agreed to pick 22 then suddenly demanded 19?
Personally, I'd rather just stick to 22, retain 19 for possible onward trading and do what's best for Freo. ****, geebung. If they want to hang on to a player with a fractured relationship with the club then fine. He can poison the atmosphere down at sleepy hollow and stuff 'em.
He's been a fringe player since being drafted and played a massive five games this season. Now when he has prospects elsewhere, all of a sudden he's a 'gun' with geebung wanting the the farm and the first born in exchange.
I hope Bell tells them to shove it and walks away from any negotiations. They've got an offer, take it or leave it.
