# weeks is fair, Greene has form for not respecting the tribunal or the umpires, and "heavy" fines have not been effective in his case. (or in the cases of a few other "crowd pleasers" that the AwFL seem to use as cash cows, so give him time, possibly rob him of a Premiership, and make him realise he is (unlike the umpires) not untouchable.

And then move on to the other 10 or 15 that have the same attitude.

once again the AFL double speak raises it's ugly head. Suspensions at AFL level count as half of their actual value. So, he's got plenty of space to reoffend.

It's kind of a Clayton's policy. It's the policy you have when you need to tick a box but don't really want to have a policy.

Yeah, if you go back to the WAFL you get a discount on what you already have. It doesn't apply while he's in the AFL.

I don't think it should apply to professional footballers, where decisions are made based on sending a message to people in lower leagues.

Bit of both, Hypen, I didn't like Williams much as a player, like Greene he stretched the envelope of the laws, but I did think he copped a bit extra for the times he got off. Greene didn't get that loading on his penalty.
