Only managed to catch the last qtr and was very underwhelmed with what I saw, they must have played a lot better in the first 3 qtrs to get that lead, but from all the top prospects all I learned was that Van Rooyan can lay a good tackle.

Amiss was very good I thought. Probably the best big man on the ground. Kicked three I believe and worked hard all game. There was one contest on the wing to half back line where he came all the way down crashed the pack and spoiled the ball. He then worked hard back to the forward to create an option when the ball came back quickly. He also kicked a ripper from the boundary. His hands out in front on the lead at full
pace where good and stood out for me. Van Rooyen also had a good game down back.

I agree what you said about Jye Amiss.. JVR did lay a few tackles which would be important as a key forward.. Jack Williams got around the ground a fair bit and looked good.. Jye Amiss actually had good speed on the lead.. Motlop looked good and I was really impressed by his pressure.. Bazzo was good but we have a million defenders

Eric Benning also showed something. Took some big clunks at the highest point. Thought his 2nd efforts and ground ball attack for a big man was impressive too. I sat next to Taylin Duman during the game, he was scouting for Freo. He expected Benning to end up at Freo. He was impressed with Mathew Roberts for the South Aussies.
