Ok, I watched the whole delayed telecast - forget the second half, we lost it in the third quarter. A big loss - whaddya expect, down three of our best for half a game. Get a grip.
But the first half was good - there's a lot of good things that were going on there, Brayshaw and Serong especially, but also Fyfe, Walters, Walker and Wilson.
But the best thing I saw was Luke Ryan deciding not to give Hayden Young a real bake after that marshmallow cross field kick in front of goal (the one The Heener Weiner had that speccy then goal from). Ryan was furious, he looked over and then looked down, nodded the kept a poker face. He knew it was a rookie mistake and he kept his disappointment to himself as he stood the mark.
That said a lot about leadership to me - and about keeping your head. Good on him - yeah, that's the guy I would run out on the field with.
