WTB - what’s wrong with Burnie? as a tourist we spent a great couple of days there and visited the Burnie Footy Club. They took us on a tour of the place, bought us drinks at the bar, found some posters with Brady Grey in them for us so yep hope they are there supporting us. Great footy club, not sure about the rest of the place!

If you’ve been to the footy club you’ve probably seen the best if Burnie. Don’t get me wrong, the area around Burnie is stunning, but the town itself isn’t much chop.

I did a few months of teaching video making to teenagers they let out of prison on day release in Burnie. They would fly me out of Hobart at dawn, put in the day fooling around with about a dozen of them - they went back to detention, I flew back after a night in a hotel. I liked Burnie - it's like a small Detroit without black Americans.

Walter - maybe you were one of those blokes, do you remember lighting those waste cans on fire and doing skateboard-cam shots of ramming them? Good to see you got out, mate.

There seems to be some debate around whether we use Serong or Banfield as a tagger. I reckon use neither. There’s no one in the Hawthorn midfield who deserves a tag. Our midfield should smash them.

No team seems to tag Mitchell any more. He gets his 50 odd possessions and does bugger all with them. O’Meara is so banged up nowadays he isn’t the footballer he was.
