TOPIC: Treacy who would have thought

Bingo!
But I envisage him as the under the radar second forward who is actually the forward that wins matches for a while if Taberner can stay fit and on the park. Which is a great place to be.

Think Daniel Bradshaw in a dominating Brisbane outfit.

He wasn't terrible in the first three, he was pretty well positioned but nobody kicked it to him which put him out of position. The fact that he is showing he can learn and the team can learn from this is the encouraging part.

An interview with Treacy post the Suns game below. Great to see that he was “bloody” happy to be recruited up by a Freo (from 8.00min into the video).

(As an aside, there appears to be a common opinion amongst the players that Tabs is the weirdest unit at the club ... any idea what that is all about??)

I love Stats they crack me up how each person looks at them and takes out what they want.

Best Bit about Stats is highlighted below Josh's Profile, scrolling down the two columns of Career Average and Season average. When I have a gander at tackles I see he is averaging 1.9 a game for both columns. What I really love is he is "Above Average" for the Season and "Average" for his Career. And That is Stats for you in a nut shell!!

Side note I could say something about the stats being Really Average, but that is just plain mean!

I'll show myself out........

Slam!

The word is Taberner is a highly intelligent young man, in an academic sense. He is studying at Curtain and is very talented with mathematics. And spends a bit of his time problem solving with other talented kids.

Not much to see there. He'll have a bright post football career whilst others are selling real estate and working on talk back radio.

I guess if you're the average AFL footballer and you don't own a ute, Rottweiler, surfboard and a tatoo saying "love and respect" in a language you don't know but are sure you don't want the people of that country migrating here......then yeah, you are weird.

When I have a cold I am a nightmare to be around.

This is what happens when you have Rick Hart sponsor you, everyone develops an intimate knowledge of fancy kitchen appliances.

stats aren’t that bad, it’s just that they don’t explain themselves and need a bit of context.

like, there’s no point comparing a sample size of 5 games with a sample of 50 or 150 games. “Season” stats are a little bit rubbish (snack size junk food if you will) for that very reason. general rule, the bigger your sample the better.

Treacy will hopefully give Freo a big sample over the next 15 seasons.

Try and stay on topic, Jezza. This thread is devoted to high end European white goods.

there’s no point comparing the purchase price of a Bosch with a Meile without factoring the lifespan of the appliance. The sample size of the Bosch can't be compared to a quality appliance like a Meile.
General rule, the longer lasting the appliance the better.

I know what you are saying Shane and I am not saying you are wrong but you need to factor in finance arrangements, interest free periods and warranties. But none of that which I have mentioned is more important than how long something lasts for relative to price paid, I am just saying there are other factors you should be adding into your modelling without saying you're incorrect.

Im going to sleep on it.

The problem, not the washing machine.
