A lot of things have changed since I was a lad but I'm pretty sure telling someone you don't like a nickname is still not the best way to go about losing the nickname.

I get what you are saying Silence, but I think a lot has changed since we were lads. The slightest hint of bullying puts the wind up the media.

You get the feeling Caroline has her informants at each club. Those types that are sort of close to the inner sanctum, would like to be closer and love the attention. And its one of those types that led her to say a really dumb and insensitive thing.

She has spent a vast majority of her career advocating people be sacked and step down from jobs. High bar with this person. Maybe she needs to apply those standards to herself.

She was right about Ross and the Christmas party NDA that lead to our HR manager being replaced by no one.

Back to topic.
Looks like Josh is below average on everything except tackles.

Don't they keep stats on packs-crashed?

The only thing about Treacy that is a concern - and dont get me wrong, its perhaps his greatestest attribute - bit the way he crashes packs....well ..surely its got "major injury" written all over it??.

I mean, I love the way he goes about it, but...well...we've seen plenty of kamikaze efforts end badly for us in recent times.

Or, does that "style of player" have an inbuilt toughness, or 6th sense, or toughness/ durability, which allows him to handle every situation he gets himself into.

I'd hate to see anyone modify his 'intent', but I cant see that its 'sustainable'...?

The only ones getting injured are opponents hurting each other in the rush to get out of the firing line.

Being below average on the stats doesn’t worry me because one of those stats is his age. Compare him to other 18 year old key forwards or 7 game players in the comp if you want to use stats and you can’t do that because there aren’t any. Give him time. If he stays fit (and he stays with us) he’ll be a very good pickup.

He was terrible in his first three games and he's been exciting in his last two games. Why would you look at stats?

And he's not much good at crashing packs either. His best work has been leading and marking the ball at good speed, then kicking straight. Like a classic full forward. If he keeps it up, Taberner becomes the second forward target and everyone has to make space for Treacy. No more packs, no more providing a contest for small forwards to lock the ball in. Just good old fashioned scoring efficiency.
