Have you seen them in the WAFL Walter? Western has been playing good footy all season, having only gone goalless in the last two games where Peel has lost against top 4 sides in the wet. Not really ideal conditions for a small forward to get the ball yet he still averages 17 touches and a goal a game. He's shone with the footy in hand and using his run to create space and scoring opportunities. I'm excited to see him get a go and I'm surprised it didn't come sooner.
Walker has come back from injury to play the last 4 league games for Peel at half back and done a very good job, blanketing his opponents and providing very good rebound. He has a lot of potential, very good for his size overhead, fast, a big leap and a great kick out of defence. I wanna give him a taste of the big leagues and start building his chemistry with the rest of the side.
