This is becoming absurd - We have a bunch of small forwards who are out of form or can't get a kick, let alone a goal, and Blakely can't get a run when we need someone like him if it's wet. Crowden simply isn't good enough at the moment and Henry hasn't had a game worth watching yet. We have only four midfielders with Brayshaw out and if one gets injured in the game we're stuffed.
At least Ryan will make a huge difference in defence and Treacy deserves another shot. But the selectors need to be accountable for some of their recent decisions.

What did Duman do wrong? He had 18 disposals. That is more than 12 other Dockers. He took 6 marks. I'm no expert, so maybe there were things he did wrong, but I didn't notice much.

I'd love to sit in on Jlo explaining to Duman and Blakely what they have to do to get a regular game.

I agree totally with Hypen on this - it's great that the team lists come out on Thursday afternoon, theres no reason not to have them before the weekend. But to grandstand it as a nod to the wishes of the football supporting public is disingenuous - the betting industry must have been driven mad over this year. Good on them for coping so long, it must have been tough on the billions that they strip out of the game and the footy punters. Back in business, hey.

I notice our odds have shifted with Andy Mumbles being left out of the game - we used to be favourites for the win on Saturday, now the Eastern Swannies are.

Go Freo - my prediction: us by kicking heaps of behinds that sets a new record; The Big Cahuna to get a touch before the end of the game; The Owl kicks our only goal.

I don't think it was about necessarily about betting, because no one too serious about that would rely on the Thursday teams, it seemed to me that the AFL was a bit shocked that people cared about getting the teams on the Thursday night. They didn't notice it was an issue until they had technical problems and people started complaining.

Once again illustrating the problem with the industry being run by people who have never really followed a team or bought a ticket to go to the football.
