Yeah, WtB, I'm assuming you didn't actually watch that game.

Particularly the bits where players were hold off the ball to allow a slime to take it away or the bits where defenders were blocked to allow slime forwards to take uncontested marks or the bits where Freo players were crunched well after taking marks leaving players injured.

I guess you also missed the bit where I commented on the stupid things we were doing.

I know I missed the bit where I said it was the umps that lost us the game. You should probably look closer before taking a cheap shot.

I watched the entire game Yeti but commenting on some umpiring decisions that didn’t go our way shouldn’t be our response. We were simply whipped by a better team. Umpiring decisions in today’s game are a distraction.

(Edit: and my apologies if it sounded like a “cheap shot” at you. I am just frustrated by the number of posts in every game that we lose that infer we were robbed by the umps when we are often simply outplayed)

So many things went wrong but to me it starts with our talls. Most were found wanting. Tabs was excellent first half but was completely out manoeuvred when trying to go on the wing to help our defence totally ineffectual. He is a real honest player but needs the game on his terms to have an impact. Darcy was outclassed , out worked and one of his poorest games. He has played a few good games this year but was simply not there today.
Lobb is a tease but at least was average and our tall defence was abysmal, with cox the best of a very poor bunch.

I want cera to stay really do but at 800k or there abouts I would rather get a top 10 pick and see if we can get one of our tall wa boys. Please stop this nonsense with our academy kids that has shown once again we think we are smarter than what we are.

A real shame Today one of the worst derby defeats against an undermanned eagles side with a busted arse Naitanui and we were made to look like fools.
They certainly tried no doubt about that but!
