The sequence of events portrayed by the video do seem a bit astray. If I were to consult Occam's Razor, I reckon Treacy had heard somewhere he wasn't going to be playing this week, which after feeling so close to selection pissed him off, prompting him to call for the meeting with JLo, who quickly placated him by telling him he was in. It accounts for the range of awkwardness in the meeting IMO. Just a thought. Unless FFC are scripting next gen reality TV down there.
*edit- found out via the west that "...Longmuir said on Thursday the 18-year-old was unlikely to be selected for Sunday's clash with Hawthorn..." So that all makes sense.
However, I believe calling a meeting with JLo was a bit immature, the coach is the coach and the process is the process. AFTER you are not selected maybe ask for a meeting under the premise that Treacy suggested.
Good Luck to him this week, debuting in the wet as a tall forward is less than ideal, but he has vastly overshot expectations for a young tall forward, and good on him for making every post a winner so far. He is a great value get for us.
