Hang on Shane, I thought Oliver Stone was the West Coast Eagles of Directors? Are you trying to mess with the universe?

Shane's just dirty about Ridley Scott because he can't figure out Blade Runner (one of the best movies of all time)

We're not here to talk movies but if you sat in a cinema in 1982 and watched Bladerunner. You understand it's significance.

Shane, didn't like Citizen Kane cause it was black and white.

I liked Citizen Kane because it was a good film. Bladerunner was a pile of garbage that I had to sit through about 4 times because "No, no...you'll really like this cut." And now you're telling me I the same thing but this cut involves time travel.

You'd love his kid's film.

I think, in the meantime, Young better start googling How to Tick Boxes so our Executive General Manager can start talking about him in his weekly "checkbox update".

Blade Runner provided for countless academic careers in screen studies, media studies and then communication studies. I don't know who wrote the original 'Blade Runner Lecture' but it has been delivered to at least thirty years of university students across the western world and adapted into everything from dystopian political studies, digital marketing as well as art historical examinations of Valasquez's 17th century painting Las Malinas. I would imagine that the original author of the lecture has become a Cote D'Azur gambling addict with endless reserves of moolah.

For myself, I wish the bloke went to see a Scorcese flick instead - but, too late now. If you've got a college age kid at uni ask them if they been given the 'Blade Runner Lecture - I guarantee they have.

RoLy has always struck me as a bloke that would deliver that lecture.

Ridley Scott's Philistine (2014)

The protagonist does something stupid, with no discernible motivation whatsoever, and then a bunch of other random stuff happens with cool effects, and then the ending is a bit ambiguous so people think it's clever. 5 stars.

Yous blokes need to apply for jobs at the ABC, not the sports department either, this sounds like some of the stuff I used to have to listen to while doing night shift.
