Maybe this is the year all our depth players get a gig... it's good to see Giro back. And who knows, the Owl may swoop in for some action too.

Giro was good on the weekend - better than I remember him playing previously. I’m not sure there are enough spots for Giro, Swiita, Owl and Shultz in a good team, but each of them can play.

You forgot Crowden.

Some tall/taller players can be agile and good at ground level. The smaller players generally can’t play tall. We’ve got too many players in Belly’s likeness.

And you are right Shane, good teams make good decisions more often. I wasn't denying that. I was just explaining why weaker teams might be more prone to making bad decisions.

But maybe we should keep score from now on. When Freo makes a decision, we can all rate it as good or bad. And then a year or two later we can have a look and see what actually happened.

I'm going to start;

The decision to make Peter Bell the face of the injury updates and to make money by advertising while doing it. I don't like it, rates as a poor decision by me.

Alright, I've no idea how we can assess the merits or otherwise of Bell reading a sponsored injury list. But here's a challenge, give an example of a decision made in the last 12 months that you think was a good decision.

You're just being a smart arse. You have no intention of listening to anything anyone says, so don't solicit it. You're trolling.

No Shane, I'm just tired of people criticising decisions with the benefit of hindsight. The comment about Bell and the injury report was interesting - I'd not thought of it.

I'll bite again, one thing I thought the club executed well in the last 12 months was the forever project last year. It came across as a great initiative, it got almost all members engaged and it raised a huge chunk of cash along the way.

As a supporter, I think that it's easy to get carried away at the decisions that you think have hurt the club, because you like the club and you don't like people hurting or damaging the things and people you like. What you don't think about or even notice are the literally 1000's of decisions that keep the club in order and competitive on the field which you DON'T think are detrimental to the club. It's psychology, I don't know how or why it works that way, it probably helped humans survive 1000's of years ago when a bad decision could wipe out your whole tribe.

Everyone makes bad decisions. People, organisations, govt, footy clubs.

When you do, you try to recognise them so you don't repeat them, even though they may arrive later in a different disguise.

Inconsistent performance, consistent injuries, dumping players who maybe you shouldn't have and keeping coaches you definitely shouldn't, and constantly struggling because of it, isn't a sign of constant bad luck, curses, Umps, Karma or Ch7 bias.

It's bad decisions, followed by bad decisions. Ad infinitum.
