Suggesting that the Eagles win premierships by injuring the opposition (in Round 1!!!) is taking conspiracy theories to a whole new level. Soon I’ll be hearing that Dangerfield’s hit was preplanned in order to damage the oppositions chances of a premiership while also ensuring that he gets a well earned rest over the next few years. The Grassy Knoll is amateur stuff compared to the apparent satanic like ability of the Eagles to twist time, space, MRP, injury outcomes blah blah blah ....
PS I hate WCE as much as anyone on this site but let’s stick to facts. Have a go at them about drugs etc but resorting to nonsense only further reinforces the ridiculous obsession that we have that team. It simply reads like an inferiority complex playing out. Given our results over the last 25 years I’d actually like to see us learning from clubs like Richmond, Sydney, Geelong, Hawthorn and ... yes ... sometimes WCE (minus the arrogance and drugs!
