Freo let Melbourne score the first 4 goals of the game and lost by - 4 goals.

Melbourne are not a top 8 side but giving even crap teams a 4 goal start you won't win many.

We were lost throughout no cohesion or flow, no ability to string possessions together.
Bugger being a forward in front of that. If you look to get position on one side of the ground it’s turned over or delayed. Even when it comes in it’s to the advantage of your defender.
New coach, new fitness staff, new playing list as bad as ever

Well, WtB, if we have peaked early, it's going to be a very long season.

Seriously for a moment, we've had an RS preseason, an injury list bigger than Ben Hur and lost more players today. If you expect huge winning performances on the back of all that then good luck.

JLo has the team moving in the right direction but it would really nice if our medicos could match that but it seems all the good docs are north of the river (Joondalup Hospital excluded)

I really didn't see us showing us anywhere near their best until probably after the break. Today wasn't our best and certainly not our worst but I'm comfortable in saying that JLo is capable of addressing the problems.

We've waited for 26 years, a few more weeks is hardly a blip.

That blip is starting to sound like one of those monitors you get wired up to when you're in hospital.

It’s best not to build up any expectation as a Dockers supporter.

No way, Corp, hospital machines go ping.

Could be an interesting experiment for our players to visit their GPs and see if they can't get a better result than our medicos

I got worried a few years back when they said that Cockburn would give us that cutting edge.....is it the medicos? the training ground? or are we picking injury prone players at the draft? The magnitude of our injury list compared to other clubs is such that u can’t sweep it under the carpet as just bad luck.

If Brad Johnson invites you to go the races, just say thanks for the invite but you are busy.

As soon as I saw Alex Pearce go to the goal square I knew we didn't have a clue how to approach the game. Sadly, it doesn't surprise me that he got injured - I am surprised that none of the coaching staff knew anything about his kicking. Poor option, game over at quarter time.

Fremantle need to come up with a goal scoring strategy, you can't fake that part of the game.

Yeah, pp, it must be down to bad luck.

They had a review of the fitness and medical staff and found nothing was awry

A Pearce forward is the new McPharlin forward. It sort of makes sense but then you see it and think ‘no wait, that’s stupid’.

There's more than a few missing, Lobb and Taberner work well together. Similar to last years season opener against Essendon. We'll be ok. Some of you do go a little over the top based on one game of football.
