I can't for the life of me fathom why we persisted kicking it long into the forward 50 in the first half and much of the last quarter too, when the Dee's defence were able to pick them off with intercept marks. I would've assumed this issue would have been addressed far earlier in the game, in fact it should be eradicated out of our game-plan permanantly as it is our Plan A, B & C vs the Eagles every single game.
Most Dockers supporters watching the game on TV or at the G would have noticed the Dees defence was tall, we could have loaded our forward 50 with small forwards and Tabs, even prior to the injury to Pearce, and it would have been to our advantage. The question is why didn't the coaching staff see this?
