With your luck Sox, you'd give the dangler and COVID lock down would be called, and the game called off to protect Pav's air intact system. There would be no refund!

I reckon a team of Purple Jesus's would give a team of Fyfes a good crack.

Would be a great spectacle...!...but there'd probably be a bit of weakness around The Wizs's defensive half. ....

I wear rose-purple coloured glasses but the Fyfe, Danger, Dusty comparisons do my head in.

Dusty's big game credentials are immense but after 2013 GF feel for Fyfe that he hasn't had the change to return to MCG on last weekend of the season with a license to rip a game apart.

This is their entire career's compared in stats.

finalsiren.com/PlayerCompare.asp?SeasonI...are&SelectedPlayers=

Dusty and Danger 1.1 goal per game. Fyfe 0.8.

Now put Fyfe in either of their teams over the last ten years with the Freedom to play forward as much as the other two. Sometimes when I lie awake at night dreaming about our first premiership I wonder what Fyfe's career might look like if we hadn't made him Capt and he could be as selfish a footballer as those other two. Early days just pushing off blokes in traffic and check-side goals (and points).

As for the accuracy you've all bought what the media ram down your necks:

Dusty 59.1% accuracy
Fyfe 58.3%
Danger 56.7%

And when was the last time you saw Fyfe kick a goal from 10-30m out where he was the last person on the end of a offensive possession chain?

[I'll stay out of the generational comparisons though]

Fyfes goal assist tally would beat those other two show pony's combined. He is a worker out on the ground, they are middle management.

Nathan Fyfe is a better footballer than either Dustin Martin or Patrick Dangerfield.

I think you can make a case for any order, but I’d have Dusty just a shade above Fyfe on account of three Norm Smith medals from three GFs being pretty unassailable.

I realise Fyfe hasn’t had the same chance to prove he’s a great big-game player, but if Freo played in three winning GFs Dave or Sonny would have pinched at least one Norm Smith.

RM, Dusty and Danger both have Fyfe covered for goal assists.
