Nope, this is nothing other than a huge opportunity for Those Gobshites.
I can see how this will turn out, this is how That Bunch of Knobs work:
i. Willi cops a fine for pot possession.
ii. After a long marketting workshop meeting Nissy calls a presser - announces that 'we believe in this young man, will wrap our arms around him and hug the bugga into an extraordinary career in the sport he loves and redeem his life', etc., etc.
iii. That Mob drip feed snappies of Willi training in Lathlain, gets NitNat and everyone to send multiple morale boosting Insta posts - forwarding all to Duffers at the Worst.
iv. Willi eventually plays a game, probably kicks a goal or takes a speccy mark, appears on the post-game interviews effusively thanking his football club and Nissy, Simmo and Vosso in particular.
And, like it has always been, who cares what happens after that - Willi can climb across suburban rooftops, set fire to living rooms or just head off to Vegas for a wild endless holiday.
That's how it works.
