I think it goes through the entire industry still. They removed the direct abuse on the field, and they cleaned up the public quite a bit, but the racist people in football just learnt to hide their racism better and use the right language. The AFL celebrate different cultures with onfield ceremonies but they don't address things like the under representation of non-white people in off field roles, or the growing need to be awarded a scholarship from a posh school if you're black and want to play in the AFL. There's not been a desire by the AFL to make things better, so I can't see why it would only relate to one club.
