Stephen Hill is a shy, introverted kid.
Asthma. Introversion. Injuries. A yappy brother.

I applaud what he's overcome.

Despite all that, he has fronted up year in, year out. What a champion.

Stephen Hill has introversion! Bloody hell, when I see him running backwards I didn't know he was travelling back in time!

Can anyone explain that movie beyond it's about Christopher Nolan disappearing up his own backside!

I reckon this year we might trade our pick 12 for another clubs future first rounder. It makes sense if we think we can't get the player we are after. Sometimes it pays to be patient. Next years draft is tipped to be better than this years. Although that doesn't mean that it will be.

It must be great running around in Under 18s with heaps of time and space. The AFL is slightly more congested.

Detox...i reckon we've shown enough 'patience' over the last26 years. I don't reckon we show any more.

Get the best player - most suitable player to our needs - we can get, right now.

Plus its such a meat market / horse trading event these days, that what you try and setup this year, is bound to be unwound by someone elses' conniving next year....

It will be interesting to see what we do. If we do go to the draft this year I feel we need a small/medium forward winger type.
Players that fit that are:
Archie Perkins
Oliver Henry
Brayden Cook
Finlay Macrae
I feel our selection will come from either of these
Cox could be a goer if they feel he will develop as a ruck man or a forward
I think after this pick we will just be matching bids for Walker and Western

Given who’ve we traded/delisted, I think we should go for a tall at our first pick, western gives us speed plus we have Henry and Frederick who are a year ahead of anyone we draft this year.

One Zac Dawson is enough for any football club. We don't need a "fist pick".

Jackson Callow from Tassie would be an ideal Mihocek-type forward. 194 cm and 100 Kgs, good hands, good kick.
Alex Pierce can tutor him. Pick 12 may just be too much for him?

He looks like a tank that kid, maybe we could trade down the order to bank some more points for whoever is bided on second out of Walker and Western, Richmond may cough up 17 & 36 for 12 if they have their heart set on someone. That could net us Callow and ensure we have 32 & 36 to match bids without going into deficit or trading future picks.

The other slightly left field option I like it this kid from SA, could start as a forward and move into the midfield in 3-4 years when Mundy retires.
#19 Caleb Poulter
WWT Eagles/South Australia | Midfielder/Forward
12/10/2002 | 192cm | 79kg

One of this year’s brightest bolters, Poulter has rocketed up draft boards after an eye-catching start to his top-age season. The big-bodied midfielder brings a serious presence through midfield, able to win plenty of the ball himself while also hunting the opposition with tackling pressure. Add to his midfield craft the ability to take big marks overhead, hit the scoreboard with his penetrating left boot, and utilise his terrific athletic base, and you have a prospect who can wreak absolute havoc at his best. With some senior football also under his belt in 2020, Poulter has stood up and been noticed quickly. It has been a steep rise since his Under 16 carnival in South Australian colours last year.

October Ranking: #19

Last Month: It was a tough call not to push Poulter even higher up the board after his outstanding display in the SA Under 18 All-Stars clash. Fresh off averaging 21 touches in the Eagles’ SANFL Under 18 finals series, the tall midfielder was so classy in midfield with wonderfully clean hands and disposal. Going back a bit further, he also performed well in each test at his state’s Draft Combine and is surely knocking on the door of first round status.
