Is reported that Young gun Stengle and Brad Crouch have been caught by police with illicit drugs....you wonder about the future of these two players, Stengle has already served a 4 game suspension for drink driving earlier in the year while Crouch is out of contract, can’t see Adelaide getting a first round pick for him after this.....

Going to a kebab place seems to be the wrecking yard for a number of footballers. Odd.

But how good are the laws in SA - straight to counselling and avoiding the whole criminal justice system. I wouldn't know what it is in WA or other states, but this seems to be a really level headed approach to what can be a complex social problem.

Yeah, polly, we have similar systems here used for simple drug offences.

The police can divert a person into a treatment program via ODIR or the Cannabis Intervention Scheme.

WA Courts have additional diversion options.

Note: generally applies to first offenders, so it's not a free for all.
